Herman L. Bennett has served as Associate Professor of History at Rutgers, and he is joining the CUNY Graduate Center this fall. Professor Bennett received his doctorate from Duke University, and his research interests include Colonial Latin America, early modern Iberia, precolonial and African diaspora.
